What is ZipPay?

ZipPay is a simple and convenient payment solution that allows you to buy now and pay later! On approval, you’ll receive a personalised ZipPay account that you can use online (or at any other ZipPay retailer). Simply make your minimum repayments each month to enjoy the interest-free terms outlined in your contract.

Important - Please Note

To qualify for ZipPay you must meet the following criteria.

• 18 years of age and over. 
• Australian citizen or resident. 
• Have your own email address and phone number. 
• Employed or regular income. 
• Have access to online banking. 


What do I need?

To apply for a ZipPay account online, you’ll need to select your desired credit limit and provide your residential, employment and financial information. Next, verify your identity through SMS, and have your email address and mobile phone number handy. Once complete, your application will go through a quick assessment (this takes about 3 minutes) to determine approval.


The important stuff

ZipPay offers credit limits between $1000 and $30,000 to approved applicants only. Depending on your credit limit, you may be charged a one-off establishment fee (refer to the table below) outlined to you on the application. All purchases carry an interest-free period, as outlined in your contract, after which your outstanding balance will accumulate interest at the standard annual rate.

Regular repayments are taken automatically via direct debit – you can set these to suit your lifestyle, provided you meet the monthly minimum highlighted in your contract (refer to the table below). Please note that payments will only be accepted from debit cards via your bank account. You can make additional payments whenever you like using your debit card or BPay. Just keep in mind your scheduled payment will still also take place!

What if I miss a payment?

ZipPay repayments are taken automatically via direct debit. However, if a payment fails, ZipPay will send you a notification so you can make the payment manually or reschedule it to be processed in a few days time. Remember, a single $6 service fee will be added to your account for any month you have an outstanding balance.
